Ok so...I'm watching this thing play. And it does reasonably ok. But it has a HUGE leak with too many checks/calls and regularly folds large portions of her stack away.
One big example is this scenario...raise AJ(or whatever raising hands are dictated) from the button 3 handed, BB calls.
Flop is T48....
Big Blind min bets into the bot...bot folds for like 1/8th the pot size. K so thats not terribad in itself once, but the same donks minbet lead every time and literally steal our entire stack.
How to code a viable defense?

Re: Donk Leads
Then of course this happens 3 or 4 times and a huge chiplead and pole position to first place is squandered on 10bbs shoving J8 in the small blind.
If you raise that donk lead, even half the time... they won't do it over and over again. Even bad players stick with what works and that play is the donkest of all plays. But against this profile...its working.
Sorry, can you tell I'm frustrated? Anyway, Webber or anybody else if you would be so kind possibly point out the bit of code that needs to be tweaked in this instance and I can mess around with some things. Feels awful to play well early, run well early...then fold it all away to a short stack and a longshot to win.

Re: Donk Leads
ill take care of the donk bets if we have outs
if we have 6 or more outs and there is a min bet then i will reraise if we are the preflop raiser.

Re: Donk Leads
I think as is, its a break even profile at best as theres still quite a lot of leaks. I have tested dozens of sngs watching carefully for improvements and I have been coding some fixes. There is still quite a few things post flop that need to be changed. Most of the preflop issues I have worked out.
Another thing to look at Webber, is...I saw this happen yesterday also and it made me want to throw things....
Bot raises KQ on the button....blinds 100/200...3 handed....flop is Q72...perfect flop for our hand....donk leads min bet, bot calls...turn is an A...donk leads min again, bot calls....river is a 4...donk POT LEADS...and because theres an A on the board the bot folds?!?!? Slowly bleeding the stack away.
I think in this instance and so late in the game, maybe 4 handed or so...if you hit a flop like that with a hand like KQ, just ship the flop. Jam it and theres noway the bot can get outplayed. I'm pretty sure the KQ was the best hand there, but since the minbet leads were only called, the donk smelled weakness and lead for the pot on the river. Raisemax the flop there and if he has a weaker Q or maybe a pair of TT's he might call and we get paid off. Of course if he flopped garbage 2 pair or something we're in bad shape but thats going to be the exception rather than the rule.
So in short, I really really think the profile calls way too much. I mean to call all bets there, the hand has to be pretty strong, a 2 pair or a set or something thats not vulnerable to the lone overcard that turned. The flop is obv a raise situation, and I think if the pot is like 30% of our stack, I'm jamming the flop.
I like your Nash Equilibrium heads up code, I think its pretty effective in removing all the heads up nuances and headaches that assuredly will occur. Ship it with +ev hands and put the decision to the bad guy.
Anyway I'm gonna try and send you a pm Webber with an idea.
